Challenge
A well respected organization in one of the largest metropolitan areas of the country went through an executive leadership change without a public relations strategy in place. The result was unfavorable press by one of the nation’s leading newspapers, loss of key revenue stakeholders and a negative perception of the organization with the general public.
Goal
- Provide strategic and tactical approaches to address the media and triage damage with stakeholders and the general public.
- Develop realistic messaging and approaches that staff and board members could be comfortable using.

- Implemented a public relations campaign with talking points that addressed how “the problem” was being addressed within a realistic timeline
- Developed a stewardship plan to ensure stakeholders were ”in the loop”
